PHASE 2: AMAZING ACTION FLICKS!

Last week we started Phase 2 of the Superheroes campaign: THE AMAZING ACTION FLICKS
This means that in the past days, we've been constantly teasing and revealing stuff about the upcoming Action Flicks Volume 3

Here's everything we know:

  1. Action Flicks 3 will be fully compatible with Outgunned Superheroes, Outgunned, or Outgunned Adventure. This means that you can use this new supplement even if you only own any one of the Outgunned standalone books. 
  2. AF3 will feature 3 flicks from day one. Others will (hopefully) be unlocked as Stretch Goals during the campaign, as always. What are these 3 revealed flicks? Keep scrolling to find out!
  3. Not all the flicks are decided. As always we read all your comments, we take note of the suggestions, and we are ready to change our plans according to your needs. Isn't that what crowdfunding should be all about?

KILLING MACHINES

A sci-fi Action Flicks about lethal robots trying to destroy you and everything you care for.
In this flick you will find a new enemy type (the killer robot) AND additional mechanics to play AS an heroic android.
We're sure this flick will be great for either Superheroes, or any other Outgunned book. Just think about all the possibilities!

V FOR VILLAINS

In this flick you are NOT the hero, but instead you will take on the role of a VILLAIN trying to conquer (or destroy) the World. Or would you prefer to fight for the good guys for once, to try and amend for your past mistakes? We got that covered too!

POWER GUARDIANS

And for today's reveal... Get ready for a brand new sentai Action Flicks!
In Power Guardians you will play as a team of teenager who can summon colorful suits (or sailor uniforms :D) to protect the World from an evil threat. 
Now MANY of you asked for this, and we finally decided that Superheroes was THE perfect environment to finally unleash this crazy flick on you. We hope you will be happy!

Super Roles Reveal

In the past weeks, we've revealed 5 of the 10 super Roles that you will find in Outgunned Superheroes:

  • The Champion
  • The Shadow
  • The Tank

PHASE 1: Road to the Quickstart

Huddle up, Heroes!

After the ENNIE Award winning Outgunned (Silver Best Game and Product of the Year 2024) and the record-breaking Outgunned Adventure, your favorite cinematic action RPG is back with a brand new genre book: Outgunned Superheroes!




Today we start PHASE 1 of the OGS campaign: the Road to the Quickstart!

Before you ask, YES, this campaign will be divided into different PHASES, each marked by a specific theme. Pretty cool, uh?


The PHASE 1 will end on April 9th, when we'll release a 100-pages Quickstart with a fully playable 1-Shot titled "Under Attack".
During PHASE 1 we will have a couple of Live Streams to tell you more about the actual mechanics of OGS, but we will also make some updates about what we said during the streams, to make sure you don't miss anything!

SUPERPOWERS


Here's a quick recap of what we said during the Live Stream:

  • In Outgunned Superheroes you will find 10 Roles, each of them connected to a specific Superpower. Example of Roles are: The Armored Hero, The Champion, The Tank, or The Sorcerer.

  • Superpowers are a unique and more powerful variant of Feats. Your Superpower grants you passive skills that you can always rely on. Some Superpowers also grant you super weapons, like kinetic or energy beams.

  • Along with the Superpowers, in OGS you will also find a number of Feats, which can enhance your Superpowers, or grant you other advantages.




  • In OGS, Adrenaline is substituted by Power. Power is one of the most important resources of a Hero, it represents your inner strength, your ability to draw from your incredible powers to face adversity. You can spend Power to activate your special actions, or to show off your Superpower to do unique and creative stuff.

  • No more Death Roulette. Before being Left for Dead in OGS you will become Powerless, and will temporarily lose your Superpower. Should you get further damage, only a Spotlight will be able to save you!




  • Thanks to the Power Tiers you will be able to play different kind of Heroes, and different kind of stories. In OGS there will be 3 Power Tiers to choose from: Street level, World level, and Cosmic level. At higher Tiers you will be more powerful, but the Villain will also become more dangerous!
